We got home Friday night and realized the upstairs AC unit had gone out (we have two, one up and one down). Since it was late, we decided to wait until the next morning (the tech said they would have come out at night if called). We ended up sleeping downstairs on an air mattress.
At 7 am the next morning, I called a company we had use before (thought Angie's List), but it took them an hour to call back and they told us they couldn't come until between noon and 10 pm. We had an open house the next day and alot of work to do.
I checked Angie's List and called Air Tech - they got back to me in 10 mins and the tech was at the house in 30 minutes. It turned out the capacitor was out- it took him a couple house to get the part and fix the problem. Then he did a system tune-up on both AC units for the Angie's list price of $64 for one AC unit. He also gave us some advice on a room that didn't seem to be getting much air.
We are very happy with the service and the quick response.
