We bought a house about 4 years ago, and when we moved in we knew that there were some things that needed to be fixed. One item was the fact that the air conditioning was zoned for the old part of the house and the new part of the house. Not zoned for upstairs and downstairs. The other issue was that the air conditioning units for the new part of the house were not matched correctly. One day the air conditioning for the new part of the house stopped working because of the fact that the units were not matched correctly. I looked on Angie's list and found Air Tech of Houston and called them to see if someone could at least fix the unit that was not working. They arrived within 30 minutes and fixed it perfectly. We then decided that this might be the best time to get the A/C re-zoned for upstairs and downstairs to try and save some cooling costs this summer. I asked Steve if he could go ahead and look at what it would take to replace the system and he gave me a quote while he was there. He assured me that quote would not change even if they got in the attic and found bigger issues then what they had anticipated. After some thought we decided to have Air Tech replace the units and re-zone the house. They came over and completed all of the work in one day. This included taking units off the roof of our house and replacing them, re-running all duct work in the attic and replacing one of the units in the attic. They had an army of people in the house that day to ensure that they were able to complete the work in one day so we would not be without A/C. My husband was at home while they were working and said that even with all of the people in the house, they all worked very efficiently and he never saw anyone just sitting around not doing anything. The price that we paid was exactly what was quoted. I would highly recommend them for big jobs like this.

Air Tech of Houston LLC replaced HVAC but not ductwork which had to come later.
7 to 8 men working to install new HVAC unit on Good Friday. First evaluation was done by one person then the entire crew came and went to work. They were efficient, respectful and dealt well with my guard's dog which barked constantly.

Service Problem : AC Unit blowing warm air. Inspected the unit and replaced coolant.
My AC was blowing warm air and my condo was very hot when I returned home from a weekend trip. When I called Air Tech, Mary surprised me by saying that a technician would be out that night! Other companies had told me that the next day was as soon as I could get service. Billy was prompt and was able to fix the problem quickly. He seemed confident and very happy to be working. He answered all of my questions and reassured me that my house would be cool in a few hours. He also explained the unit is old and that the compressor has lower bearing damage but the unit should last through the summer. I will use Air Tech to replace my AC unit next spring and I will recommend them to my friends.
